Okay, so this John Karr didn’t do it? His DNA is not a match to what they have on file so no charges against him in the Jon Bonnet Ramsey murder, and I wonder, they couldn’t have checked that in Thailand?
In a news conference in Boulder, Lacy and staff members from the Boulder County district attorney’s office addressed how DNA evidence released Monday showed Karr could not have committed the killing he confessed to when he was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, earlier this month. (full story)
I mean they couldn’t have taken samples there and flown those to the States prior to shipping him over at taxpayer expense?
Then too I have to wonder at some of the statements made until they dropped the bombshell about him not matching the DNA. You know, the one’s where he had supposedly given them details that had never been released to anyone, including the Ramsey’s? So how did he find those out or did he make some lucky guess?
In watching this case unfold years ago, people kept referring to the Boulder police and DA as the new Keystone Cops, and now one has to wonder, is this part two?
So Karr will be sent to California to face misdemeanor charges while escaping harsher penalties in Thailand. That was of course one sentiment given and shouted down when he was first arrested, and one has to wonder, did Karr play Colorado for suckers?
Bet the news media are pretty ticked off. I mean suddenly they lose out on what might have been the court case of the year and super duper television ratings because Colorado once more goofed.
I wonder, will they ever catch the killer? Or will there be a part three to this whole affair?
