Free Porn Comes with a Price

Who doesn’t love something that is free?  I SURE DO.

However, the problem with Free Porn is that 9 out of 10 times, it comes with a super hefty price tag, that you really don’t see, until you have to pay it. Now, sounds odd, because you can read my stories for Free, so where is my price?

Simple, you get some ads to see at the end, that hopefully you will want to join or purchase. Whether it is buying some lube or Condoms, or viewing some videos.  However, I let you decide, if you want to or not, I DO NOT FORCE YOU TO JOIN, BUY OR TRICK YOU INTO IT!

AND YET, that is what a growing number of adult sites are doing. They are TRICKING YOU INTO IT WITH THEIR $1 TRIAL OFFERS, THEIR PRE CHECKED TRIALS TO OTHER SITES.

As a member of the adult community, a webmaster, I find these tactics deplorable, and wrong, and yet way too many are doing it. They pop up displays that trick you into thinking it is no big deal to cancel, but truth is, IT IS DIFFICULT.   Many of these sites run a huge collection of sites, mostly all the same content as well, but they market them to specific niches, or types, even though they really don’t have quite the ‘exclusive’ content they promise, which is another rip off.

Couple of the most notable companies doing this, are Gay Gravy & Gay Pay. You need to really be careful of what is on those join pages, and what boxes are ticked and what aren’t. You also need to insure you have good anti virus software RUNNING, and a good Pop Up Blocker.  Check for spyware and CLEAR YOUR COOKIES AFTER VISITING THEIR CHAIN OF SITES.

Programs that I list for promotion on my sites, to the best of my knowledge DO NOT HAVE THESE PRE CHECKED OPTIONS, POP UPS, EXIT CONSOLES.  I will continue to monitor them, to insure they don’t, but I can’t be constantly checking sites & writing stories.  You need to keep your eyes open, to scroll down all the way to the end of every single join page you go to. Keep your computer protection software UP TO DATE is another good practice to be in.

If you encounter these items, on any of the programs I promote, please let me know. I am opposed to unethical business practices, and do not support such tactics, even though it does cost me income.  My values and morals, are not for sale.

Censorship A Constant Risk

0

Posted by fictionteller | Posted in Bite Me! | Posted on 27-12-2008

censorshipOne of the major risks, in being in the Adult Industry, is the threat of censorship from Government.  It really is like living with a sword hanging over one’s head, as one tries to convey the real lifestyle of people.

Sex, for some odd reason, is considered to be dirty, and it really is a simple part of life. Some of us have a lot of sex, other’s don’t, but we all have sex, or had sex. I don’t think many people die, being virgins, do you?

Now some wanker of a politician in Britian thinks we should have ‘kid safe’ times, and that ISPs should provide concerned parents an adult free internet version, but he doesn’t think that is censorship. Like what has he been smoking?

Adult sites, writers, producers, all have to keep an eye on the latest political climate, in order to avoid inadvertent mistakes that could lead to making some idiot’s political career skyrocket. I simply don’t understand these Conservative Politicians, who believe in restricting freedom, for something that is, basically the obligation of parents.

My stories are about sex, and they are intended for adults, who want to get off, who want to read about their type of lifestyle. Sex isn’t dirty, it is real, and yet, I find I do self censor myself, which isn’t right. Certain words have become taboo in the adult industry, all because some wanker in a suit thinks it denotes something sinister, portrays a mental picture that is inappropriate.

I mean they need to get real, because a word is not just a word. It depends on the context it is used, such as Gay.  It can mean happy, or it can mean a homosexual. Yet kids today are using it to attack homosexuals, thanks in large part, to politicians who are too narrow minded or lazy, to do their proper job.

The internet already has labeling, but no amount of labels or time changes, will protect any child, if the parents are absent, if they are too busy doing other things, than watching over their own offspring.

Proposition 8 Victory a Spur?

0

Posted by fictionteller | Posted in Bite Me! | Posted on 16-11-2008

Before the dust had settled on the joyful celebration in Mormon Headquarters, and Catholic Churches across the USA, the ramifications of that victory began to be felt, first in California, then before the very doors of the Mormon Church itself, as people began to fight back.. The huge cash contributed by the Mormon Church, along with its directives for the faithful to support passage of this legislation, has been a focal point for many angered, by the denial of basic civil rights for the GLBT community.

There is no secret agenda, no hidden plan to turn kids into homosexuals, or to infiltrate churches to force Priests or Preachers to pass on some religious blessing to Queers. The goal isn’t really even about marriage, but about the rights of a minority, to enjoy the same benefits as any other minority does, in a so called free and democratic society.

What the GLBT community seeks, is protection under the law, and the right to enjoy full benefits of being a citizen of their country entitles them to enjoy. That includes the right to marry who they choose to marry, not to have some Priest mumbo some ancient Latin phrases.

The right to marry, isn’t suddenly going to have a slew of Gay Men joining the Mormon Church, or the local Catholic Church, but what it will do, is insure that ordinary people have some protection from greedy relatives, from obnoxious health officials, and more importantly, allow those who are different to stop being afraid, of their own government & justice system.

Across the United States the outrage over this passage of a bill that denies a minority it’s rights, has spilled out onto the streets. From New York to Los Angeles, people are out, protesting the deliberate abuse of power by a select few, who are attempting to force their religious views on the nation. They are protesting the outrage over a group of small minded individuals and leaders, who mix politics & religion, to further their own purposes, their own power.

(AP) Gay rights supporters waving rainbow colors marched, chanted and danced in cities coast to coast Saturday to protest the vote that banned gay marriage in California and to urge supporters not to quit the fight for the right to wed.

Crowds gathered near public buildings in cities large and small, including Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and Fargo, to vent their frustrations, celebrate gay relationships and renew calls for change.

“Civil marriages are a civil right, and we’re going to keep fighting until we get the rights we deserve as American citizens,” said Karen Amico, one of several hundred protesters in Philadelphia, holding up a sign reading “Don’t Spread H8″.

“We are the American family, we live next door to you, we teach your children, we take care of your elderly,” said Heather Baker a special education teacher from Boston who addressed the crowd at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. “We need equal rights across the country.”  (source – CBS News)

It is amazing to see happening, where finally there might be a chance, at equality. While protests, by themselves, don’t make change, they at least do bring it to the attention of the people. It also gets the other side out, the truth behind the desire to be married. It no longer is about some ‘fear mongering’ and puts those tactics on the ropes. This is what involvement means, and it is what gives hope to the many who cower in fear, simply because they are DIFFERENT.

Between boycotts of those who supported with money, this resolution of hate, to those marching in the streets, it is a beginning of a snowball rolling down a hill. Momentum is now passed to us, and so it our obligation to keep on fighting, to keep on putting this issue into the front pages of the established media, to get the message out, that HATE IS WRONG, DISCRIMINATION IS HATE.

In God’s Name

Or So They Claim.

The anti Gay movement is in full swing in California, as they pound on doors, pushing their Proposition 8, to set a constitutional ban on same sex marriage. A proposition that sets Civil Rights backwards, a motion, if passed, that enshrines the values of Hate, of Bigotry, and Racism. It sends a powerful message to all who hate, simply because someone is different, if passed. And yet the worst part of this proposition, is that it is being done in the Name of GOD.

An estimated 15,000 backers of the measure, most of them members of Mormon, Catholic and evangelical Christian churches, knocked on doors and distributed campaign literature to registered voters throughout the state this weekend and last, according to Jennifer Kerns, spokeswoman for the Yes on 8 campaign. (source – Politico dot Com)

Every religion has its ‘fanatics‘ from Judaism to Islam, and everywhere in between. The Christian Religion is no different, as good people, fall into the trap set by these self serving Ministers, Preachers, who claim to only be trying to honor GOD, but in fact, DISHONOR HIM. They promote HATE, because someone is different, because someone believes differently than they do. That is really what Proposition is about, not about PROTECTING THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE, as they claim, as those who rally around them shout.

This is about PUSHING THEIR BELIEFS ON OTHERS.

Pure and simple, these Religious Sects want to foist their values on everyone else. And for those who disagree, they don’t get their shot at the Golden Ring, called FREEDOM. Instead they get taunted and harassed, if not outright killed. Just ask Mathew Shepard about that.

Not every religious order believes as these people do. Jews for example are one, and have gone to the point where they welcome same sex marriage within their synagogues. In fact, they even ordain Gay Rabbis. There are even many in the Anglican fold who believe the same as the Four Major Jewish Orders do, that Homosexuals are NOT an abomination.

Proposition 8, if passed, would LIMIT THOSE DIFFERING VIEWS.  How is that Democracy? And yes, those who support Proposition 8 could be totally 100% right, in that it is God’s Will, however they could just as easily be 100% wrong. Nor is it their place to tell anyone what is and what isn’t a marriage?

One important facet of all this, is that these same people, who preach their HATE, who CLAIM to speak for GOD, for FREEDOM, forget that many who came to America from Europe, did so to ESCAPE RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION. Yet here they are, the descendent’s of those who fled Religious Intolerances, now doing exactly what their forefathers fled from.

No ruling has stated that any Church HAS TO allow Gay Marriages or even accept Homosexuality. In fact, it goes a step further, and clearly EXCUSES CHURCHES from the ruling. Keeping the original doctrine of separating Church & State intact. Yet these people disagree, instead they want to HAVE EVERYONE ACCEPT THEIR BELIEF, denying rights to those who don’t subscribe to their philosophy. How is that Democracy? Freedom?

Let us keep in mind, Homosexuality existed long before Christ walked the earth. It was a respected tradition in ancient times, called Pederasty. Also let us keep in mind, that in the bible Polygamy was a well established fact of life. How many wives did Abraham have? Yet today that is against the law, and while at it, how about the Mormon Church that claims Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. And that many Mormons believe in having multiple wives, and beginning at the age of 14, or younger.

Then too, if a woman committed adultery, well she got stoned, not a fat divorce settlement. In some Islamic circles, a raped woman can be found guilty of adultery. So there are a lot of things in the Bibles, that just don’t hold water today. Besides, no one is trying to rewrite the Bible, that is for those who want to believe, to believe. Those who don’t shouldn’t be FORCED to live a lie, or to live in fear, because a vocal few feel threatened.

Persecution is never justified, no matter in whose name you profess to represent.

What Does It Take?

Shake your head a little and ask yourself, what does it take for people to understand that anyone persecuted, bullied, or vilified, is deserving of protection and that if schools fail to teach tolerance, to teach differences, how can society survive? Seriously, you can hate me because I am gay, you can believe I will burn in eternal damnation even, but that does not give you the right to attack, to bully, to denegrade me or others like me.

I am different, so?

Another battle looms in the court system of whether a GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) club can be formed in a high school. The School says no, because well they are mandated to teach abstinence and that marriage is about a male and female. Like that might be the sex education requirement from some neanderthal government, but it isn’t nature.

But school district attorney David Gibbs says that the Equal Access Act can’t be used in the case of a GSA and furthermore Florida law requires schools to teach abstinence, “while teaching the benefits of monogamous heterosexual marriage.” (see Story)

Schools are supposed to be about learning, not about repeating what some zealot believes or thinks. It is about educating kids and to show them that what might be their view, their belief, it doesn’t always make it right or what others might belief. It is through that quest for knowledge, for what makes the differences, that bridges gaps, that allows for hatred to diminish and for understanding to flourish.

This isn’t Iraq or Tehran, it is North America. Surely in todays world, hatred because of religious beliefs should not be allowed to impeach the ability of schools to teach. Those times supposedly ended in the Middle Ages, but it appears that they are making a comeback. Personally I have no problem with these people demanding abstinence, but I do have a problem with those who deny me the right to offer an alternative. It doesn’t bother me that someone believes I will rot in Hell, because in my own heart I know they are wrong. I could be, but that belief of mine, it doesn’t hurt them or me.

Denying the meeting of groups like the GSA while allowing Christian Groups to meet only foster racist attitudes and views. It shows clearly that one is superior to the other, and that isn’t Democracy or even Freedom. That is tyranny and hatred and when did schools become teachers of those traits?

The school allows a number of extracurricular clubs – including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Key Club, and the Rodeo team – to meet regularly on school grounds. (see Story)

Have you ever wondered why there is so much hatred in the world? Ever think that it is because when we should be building bridges, we are instead burning them? This is one of those, burning the bridges issues, and last time it happened, it led to a lot of Cross Burnings.

Wonder what they will use this time around?

No One Admits It

Statistics are funny little numbers. I mean it is interesting to see how many quote stats to defend a position or to claim why something isn’t being done. Granted, in some instances it is more of a perception than reality but you know, it does make you wonder at times. Specially when it comes to hate crimes like Gay Bashing.

Given that the USA is on a holy war against Gays it seems interesting to note that even the Gay Mecca, San Francisco has resorted to street patrols in order to keep the streets save for residents. The one place in America where gays can walk holding hands, kiss and just be themselves now needs street patrols.

Ordinarily the pair might look as though they are members of a team on their way to a team function.  But they are part of a new community street patrol aimed at stomping out homophobic attacks before they can get violent. (full story)

Naturally the police say crime isn’t on the rise, but then too the United States doesn’t think Gay Bashing is a hate crime. They don’t think that bullying and name calling warrants adding attacks on Gays as part of their hate crime measures. So I suppose it is no wonder that police don’t believe attacks on Gays is on the rise. Somehow though makes you wonder why they held a special meeting and why street patrols now exist, with police officers in attendance.

Part of the possible problem too is that Gays are reluctant to report the assaults. After all who wants to tell some blue suit that two guys or three took off after them. We all now the defence too, these red neck bullies will claim the lone gay guy came on to them. Seems that is what works in America.  Given that, why would Gays report it?

Sad part is that in not reporting it, it also makes us feel more ashamed. I mean it is like we are being driven back to hiding who we are, not from just the political rhetoric, but from real fear. I mean it is like Gays are the group to hate above all others. It just seems that is the mission too, and what I guess has me most upset is that it is the religious orders who are leading that charge. This is not a message to send to young gays and yet we somehow seem powerless to stop this rushing tide of hatred and anger.

Look at the front runners for President in 2008. Other than Guillano, the rest all oppose equal rights for gays, including Clinton and Obama. So I mean, it is like the left and right are united together in insuring that we are kept in our closets. Sad state of affairs when same sex marriage is sanctioned in South Africa and Spain, yet good old America is rushing to pass amendments to deny it.

Interesting how two countries which share a common language and a huge border can be so different. I mean Dave and I routinely go shopping and hold hands. He and I even kiss at times in the local grocery store and no, we don’t live in a predominently gay district like San Francisco has the Castro. So it is strange to me to fathom how there can be such a difference.

And yet every single American politician calls the USA, the Greatest Democracy EverHow sad.

Who IS Paying The Bills

Posted by fictionteller | Posted in Bite Me!, Rambling On, World View | Posted on 01-11-2006

No not in your household, but when you see polls and the results these polls claim are representative of the populace, you should be asking some pertinent questions. Naturally the first question to be asked is who is paying for the poll in the first place?

Take the recent COMPAS poll in Canada that supposedly says that the majority of us think its okay to discriminate against Gays, or that civil servants should not be required to perform the job they signed on for in regards to marrying same sex couples.

The COMPAS poll for the Institute for Canadian Values which opposes gay marriage found that 57 percent of those surveyed said marriage officiants should be allowed the choice of whether or not to “officiate at gay marriages,” provided there are enough marriage commissioners available for same-sex unions. ( full story )

The clue to this poll results being suspect is who has paid for it. They are a group who oppose civil rights and have paid for the poll. Makes you wonder what the terms were but as you read the article, you can see that it is designed to create the results it did generate.

Which leads up to the next two questions people should ask when seeing these type of polls. Second is to know what the questions asked are and third, who were the participants? I mean were they randomly selected from Stephen Harper’s church or were they taken from a cross section of people on the voting register? Kind of makes a difference you know.

This poll shows me one clear thing though. It shows me that Stephen Harper and his band of Klansmen supporters are reaching closer to donning their white sheets. This is racism at its lowest as they attempt to justify their bigotry and hatred. It is a good tactic, least for George Bush so it is obvious given who Harper’s chief adviser is. After all he did run such a group in the states, and now is up here pushing American Values on Canadians.

Being Gay all my adult life, in that it took me a bit to come to terms with it, I have not encountered the blind hatred or racism that exists south of the Border. It is this tolerance of differences that makes Canada great, something Stephen Harper and his Klan are attempting to destroy.

Hate is a horrid thing, yet Stephen Harper and his Klan want to foster it, promote it, all in the name of their GOD. Well I think Canadians are smarter than that, and frankly I am surprised at how readily many Americans have fallen into this KKK ploy. Let’s take a step back and realize, GOD is not a GOD of hate, and if he is, if he is as Stephen Harper and George Bush claim, then I for one want nothing to do with such a diety. I cannot accept that GOD is one of hatred, of bigotry and elitism.

I choose to believe in a GOD of love, but that aside, both myself and Stephen Harper acknowledge that GOD created mankind, so if I am a defect as Harper and his Klan state, if I am a sinner by choice because I live the way GOD created me, then Harper and his Klan are in effect saying GOD screwed up. They are daring to question HIS plan, HIS creations, because of something they simply cannot accept or understand. I am who GOD made me, not by some choice or freak of genetic engineering but by GOD’s DESIGN.

Maybe it is time people like Harper and Bush looked within themselves to see how their hatred has poisoned them. Maybe it is time the electorate helped them see that but utterly ignoring them and relicating them to the backwaters of political oblivion. In the states, one week from today you Americans have that chance. To vote for any Republican is a vote for Racism and Bigotry, so if you believe in Equality, in GOD, think long and hard before you cast a vote for people who hate, who despise differences, who in essence HATE YOU!
